"I left We Love Retreat feeling inspired, re-energised and body positive, and would recommend it to anyone looking for some soul-nurturing time in the peaceful Cairngorms"
Francesca De Munnich, We Love Retreat Participant 2017
what is the we love retreat?
"Join me for a retreat into body love, sacred connection and fierce feminine energy."
You can expect daily meditation, yoga and creative workshops over the course of the weekend (3 nights). All activities are based around specific themes, intention setting, perspective shifting and learning how to reconnect and fall in love with your own body.
The retreat is fully catered by our private chef and owner of The Dell, Polly. Polly specialises in nutritional, unprocessed and delicious food with ingredients sourced from the local area. Each day there is time to explore the wooded landscape, read, write in your We Love Retreat journal, nap or build friendships in the stunning Dell Lodge. Each evening will be filled with storytelling round the fire-pit and star gazing before falling into bed for some no-tech, radio silence, quiet time and the best night's sleep you'll have ever experienced.
A Typical Day on the We Love Retreat
Start your day with guided breathing and meditation followed by some time to relax and prepare for your day.
Next you will re-connect to your body with a gentle energising yoga practice after which we'll gather in the kitchen to mindfully eat a delicious brunch served by Polly: our very own chef for the weekend.
After brunch and with a satisfied and happy tummy, you will be lead in an enlightening soul enriching creative workshop. In the afternoon please feel free to spend your time relaxing, reading, journaling, sleeping or connect with other retreaters in the two lounges available (each with their own wood burning stove). You may want to take a stroll through the woodland or book a therapy with our visiting massage therapist.
We’ll come together again in the early evening for a delicious home cooked dinner by Polly. Then we'll get together around the fire-pit with some mugs of hot chocolate for storytelling or another creative workshop.
The night is then yours to hunt out the stars, fall into bed or remain fireside with all technology 'dimmed' at 9pm for some much needed chill time until morning.
"I loved that there was a balance of activities through the retreat and the focus on other aspects of our wellbeing was great and I imagine that's not typical of other retreats.
The workshops/ discussions/ fireside parts all felt very therapeutic and I've taken lots that I will carry forward in my life. You have both made me want to live a life that is much more closely aligned with what is important to me."

How to get there?
ADDRESS: The Dell: Dell Road, Nethy Bridge, Inverness-shire, PH25 3DL
BY CAR: To get directions click here
BY TRAIN: Take a train from Dundee (approx. 2h 30min) Edinburgh (approx. 2h 40min) or Glasgow (approx. 3h) to Aviemore. This is a very popular route and there are a lot of trains per day. From there we would recommend taking a taxi. There is a bus that goes from the Cairngorm Hotel to Causer Shelter but you still need to walk 0.8 mile from there. If you are taking the train email us as if there is a group of people arriving at the same time we will organise a pick up. Off peak return train tickets cost between £30-£50 .
Over 18's only please
Any and all dietary requirements will be catered for.
I'm an experienced/ inexperienced yogi/ meditator...
The yoga and meditation practices at the retreat will be 100% inclusive. The yoga teacher will tailor the experiences so everyone is comfortable and feel like they are achieving at their own pace. The retreat has a maximum of 9 participants so the yoga sessions will never feel crowded.
Can I come to the retreat by myself, or do I need to come with my bestie?
We encourage you to come with your best friend (mum, daughter, partner, sister, friend) as the accommodation will be twin shared rooms but we understand that this isn't always possible to coordinate and sometimes it is important that our 'body love' journey is an individual one. So for these reasons we will welcome single female guests. (Please be aware that if you come by yourself you will be sharing a room unless you wish to pay for one of the limited single room upgrades which might still be available).
can I cancel my reservation?
Unfortunately once you have made the booking and paid for the place we cannot offer a refund, however, if you are able to find someone to take your place then we can arrange for this switch.
what should i bring?
That book you have wanted to read forever. Layers of comfortable relaxed stretchy clothing which can be reduced for yoga or layered up for a walk through the woods. It's Scotland so you never know what the weather may bring. Please feel free to bring your own yoga mat if you'd prefer but we will have one available for you to use. Trainers or walking boots for outdoors and flip flops/ slippers are recommended for inside the lodge. Also bring your story, your wisdom, your love and your positivity.
HOW to book
Once booked into the retreat a booking form link will be sent to you so we can learn a bit more about your goals for the weekend as well as your dietary requirements, accessibility needs, yoga level etc. This is so we can tailor the retreat to your needs as much as possible.
Price is based on each participant sharing a twin room. Only one room upgrade from shared to single occupancy is available at an additional cost. Price for the next retreat pp is: TBC
